The Antennas are situated at an arch (Start/Finish line). When the go kart with a transponder passes under the arch, the antennas get the signal and send it to the decoder. Sport Timing Software reads the signal from the decoder and transforms it into lap times.
Depending on the specifics of the race or running event you can set up one system at the start line and one at the finish line.
The software will read the time from the start to the final and will display an accurate race time.
A different number of antennas can be situated on the race route, depending on the specifics of the activity. The number of antennas is defined based on the width of the track. The software can read and display the time between the different timing points or a total lap time.
